Verna (Testerman) Lewis

Verna Testerman Lewis, age 65 of Lansing died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Genesis-Alleghany Center.  Ms. Lewis was born June 16, 1955 in Pennsylvania to the late Coy and Esther Kiebler Testerman.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert McCarraher and sister, Connie Snyder.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Buddy Freeman.  Burial will follow in the Green Cove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Monday, November 23rd at Badger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Emmett Lewis, sons, Jack Testerman of Mouth of Wilson, VA, Robert McCarraher and wife Amy of Lansing and Michael McCarraher and wife Julie of Independence, VA, daughter, Marietta Miller and husband Rex of Mouth of Wilson, VA, step-son, Mark Lewis and wife Brittney of Elizabethton, TN, brothers, Michael Testerman and Coy Testerman Jr., 17 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 on the way. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
