Tim Vido

Tim Vido, age 61 of Fleetwood passed away, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Tim was born on Monday, April 14, 1958 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Paul James and Betty Dixon Vido. Mr. Vido was preceded in death by his father.  Tim attended Beaver Creek Baptist Church and loved playing with his cat “Blackie”.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Johnny Goodman. Burial will follow in the Smethport Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Vido is survived by his wife, Amanda Ashley Vido, one son, Michael Vido of Ashe County, his mother, Betty Dixon Vido, three brothers, Ricky, Paul and Tony Vido all of Charlotte.  Tim is also survived by his father-in-law, David H. Ashley and sister-in-law, Christina Kelly both of West Jefferson as well as his step-father, Danny Shinn.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaver Creek Baptist Church at P.O. Box 1560 in West Jefferson.

The family will be meeting at the home of David H. Ashley at 1637 Claybank Road in Smethport.
