Obituary
Tammy Leigh Howell, age 54 of Crumpler, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte. Ms. Howell was born on January 3, 1968 in Ashe County to Charles Howell and Maggie Harless Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Gregory Howell.
She enjoyed gardening, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her dogs.
Ms. Howell is survived by: her son, Ryder Howell of Lansing; sister, Debbie Wilcox of West Jefferson; brother, Ricky Howell of Wilkesboro; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church by Rev. Jessie Ball. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm prior to the service.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, 3470 U.S. Highway 221 North, Jefferson, NC 28640.
