Mary Ellen (Osborne) Richardson

Mary Ellen Osborne Richardson age 74 of Warrensville passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center.  Mrs. Richardson was born on February 4, 1948 in Ashe County, North Carolina to Joseph Glen and Marie Williams Osborne.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Mary Ellen was a member and treasurer for Clifton Baptist Church, she loved flowers and her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very important to her.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Darrell Richardson, one son, Randy Richardson of Warrensville, her mother, Marie Osborne of Mtn. City, TN, three brothers, Charles “Sam” Osborne of Creston, Bobby Osborne and James “Doug” Osborne both of Mtn. City, TN, two sisters, Carolyn Dunn and Linda Tester both of Mtn. City, TN, two grandchildren, Misty Richardson and Emily Penley, four great-grandchildren, Jayden Reyes, Zoey Richardson, Adriana and Lilliana Penley and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Galgano.  Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Clifton Baptist Church Youth Fund.

Ashelawn Memorial Chapel and Gardens has been entrusted with Mrs. Richardson's arrangements.
