Mary Clyde (Turnmire) Eller

Mary Clyde Eller, age 82 of Lansing passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Eller was born on March 27, 1938 in Ashe County to the late Avery and Virginia Wydner Turnmire.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Buryl Eller, brother, John Turnmire and sister, Carolyn Dancy.

Mrs. Eller is survived by: three sons, Kenneth E. Blevins of Crumpler, Robert Lee Blevins of Lansing and Michael Shane Blevins of Crumpler, one daughter, Shelia Lynn McVicker of Wilkes, two brothers, Jack Turnmire and Harold Turnmire both of Lenoir and one sister, Christine Kimberlin of Jefferson, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Eller was a member of New River Baptist Church.  She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Scott Blevins Cemetery at 2:00pm by Rev. Lloyd Day.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Scott Blevins Cemetery or to Ashe Humane Society.  The family respectfully request no food please.
