Margaret (Taylor) Goodman

Margaret Taylor Goodman, age 84 of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Goodman was born in Ashe County to the late Glen and Bessie Parsons Taylor. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by, one sister, Anna Lou Elliott and her husband, Ivey Goodman. Margaret was a member of Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flowers, spending time with her friends and loved her church.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 20, 2023 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Jeff Vogler and Rev. Doug Halsey.  Burial will follow in the Calloway Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service.

 Mrs. Goodman is survived by: three sons, Greg Goodman (Teresa) of West Jefferson, David Goodman (Greg Palmer) of Durham and Tony Goodman (Sarah) of Jefferson one brother, Earl Taylor of Mtn. City, three grandchildren, Tanner, Emma and Tucker Goodman, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
