Linda Day Harrison, age 73 of Yadkinville died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Harrison was born February 19, 1947 in Ashe County to the late Walter and Ola Elliott Day.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Dillard Jones Jr. and brothers, Harold and Worth Day.  Linda was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, she loved God, her family and her dog Buttons.  Linda was kind, sweet and a loving mother figure to many.  She loved to cook and sing and had a great sense of humor.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day and Brother Robert Wiles.  Burial will follow in the Day Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm prior to the service. The family asks that masks be worn and that you practice social distancing if attending.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by, her husband, Larry Harrison, daughters, Sherry Jones, Melissa Graham and Jeannie Gregory all of Yadkinville, brothers, Roger Day, Rev. Lloyd Day and Danny Day all of West Jefferson, sisters, Lena Turner, Barbara Mitzel and Phyllis Kimbell all of West Jefferson and Donna Day of Marion, VA, grandchildren, Bradley, Alexis, Kayla, Vance, Tristen, Asia, Amber and Kashus and great-grandchild, Darian.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
