Edith (Lambert) Severt

Edith Lambert Severt, age, 87, of Jefferson passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Margate Health and Rehab Center.  Mrs. Severt was born April 11, 1936 in Ashe County to the late Wiley Thomas and Ella Severt Lambert. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Roy Lambert and her husband, Bobby Allen Severt. 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Lawrence Goodman and Rev. John Leek. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 pm prior to the service. 

Mrs. Severt is survived by her nephew, Mark Lambert, great-nephew, Tyler Lambert, great-great-nephews, Trathen Bennett, Kyler and Conner Lambert and sister-in-law, Sonja Howell and husband Walter.
