Dennis Bowman Obituary

Dennis Robert Bowman, Jr., age 71 of West Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bowman was born in Grundy, Virginia to the late, Dennis Robert Bowman Sr. and Inez Ednicott. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Bert Bowman, and his sister, Sue Owen.

Mr. Bowman enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in his yard. Throughout his life he worked as a truck driver for the Coal Mines of Virginia.

Mr. Bowman is survived by: two Daughters, Rebecca Bowman and Amanda Silva of West Jefferson, five Grandchildren, Destiny Cook, Alexis Payne, Charles Camarillo, Sabino Silva, Dennis Silva, and one Great-Grandchild, Ella Stevens.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Flowers will be accepted and memorials may be made to the Bowman family c/o Badger Funeral Home: 300 E. Main St. West Jefferson, NC, 28694.
