David "Jess" Ralph Denny

David Ralph Denny, better known as "Jess", age 51 of Warrensville, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. Mr. Denny was born on November 28, 1970 in Ashe County to Ralph and Carol Maye Denny. He was preceded in death by all his grandparents.

Mr. Denny enjoyed farming, working the cattle, working on small engines at his repair shop, and watching movies. He was a sports fanatic and liked watching basketball, football, and Nascar. Mr. Denny always enjoyed the time he had with his customers and friends.

He is survived by:  two daughters, Alyssa (Cody) Miller of Millers Creek, and Ashley (Matt) Barr of Crumpler; his fiancee, Amy Lynn Trivette of Warrensville; his parents, Ralph and Carol Denny of West Jefferson; special friends that he thought of as his brothers, Ronnie Wyatt of West Jefferson, and Thomas Parker of Creston; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

A graveside service will be held following the visitation on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Johnson-Denny Cemetery in Warrensville by Minister David Lyalls and Rev. Lloyd Day.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, 3470 U.S.Highway 221 North, Jefferson, NC 28640.
