Crystal Ann DePalma Bennett, age 36 of West Jefferson, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Bennett was born on June 16, 1984 in Stony Brook, NY to Michael Marcellus DePalma and Annette Daidone DePalma.

Crystal's heart was in helping others. Helping her students inside and outside her classroom and running the children’s ministry at her church, New Creation Ashe, along with her husband.  Crystal was the DIY queen, never backing down from a project. She loved to travel with her family. She loved taking pictures of everyone else but herself and most of all she loved being a mommy.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by: her husband, Travis Matthew Bennett; two children, Mya Bennett and Jaxon Bennett; her parents, Michael Marcellus and Annette DePalma; sisters, Candice DePalma of Jefferson and Michelle Miller of Oakdale, NY; brothers, Robert DePalma of Crumpler, Shane DePalma of Crumpler and Michael DePalma of Arlington, VA; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Frances Daidone of Melbourne, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ricky and Linda Bennett of Lansing; brother-in-law, Toby Bennett of Warrensville; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Pastor Josh Hamby.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Ashelawn.
