Carol Louise Pollack

Carol Louise Pollack, age 83 of West Jefferson, passed away, Tuesday, November 22, 2022.  Ms. Pollack was born on October 10, 1939 in Minnesota to the late Anton Louis Pollack and Catherine Louise Miller Pollack. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Brenke, 2 brothers, Lloyd Pollack, and Maynard Pollack, 4 nephews, David Pollack, Maynard Pollack Jr., Michael Pollack, and Chuck Pollack.

Carol was a volunteer at Ashe Memorial Hospital, living to serve was of the upmost importance to her. In addition to volunteering, she was a proud member of the Joy Club and Bald Mountain Baptist Church – both of which gave her great enjoyment. Carol also fought for our country by serving in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Before retiring, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for the city of Fort Worth, Texas. Carol was a joy to everyone around her.

Ms. Pollack is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Bald Mountain Baptist Church by Rev. John Elledge.
