Brenda Sue (Wyatt) Taylor

Brenda Wyatt Taylor, age 68 of Jefferson passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Taylor was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on August 9, 1952 to the late Lonnie and Inis Farmer Wyatt.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Edward Taylor.

Brenda enjoyed going to Living Waters Church.  She loved spending time with her grandpuppies, family and friends.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Joe Taylor and wife, Tina of Jefferson, three sisters, Karen Simcox of Glendale Springs, Kay Roten of Crumpler and Ann Jones of Jefferson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Dean Shaw.  Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the service.

If attending services please wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family c/o Ashelawn Memorial Chapel; 3470 U.S. Highway 221 North, Jefferson, NC 28640.  The family respectfully requests no food please.
