Betty (Moretz) Fisher

Mrs. Betty Moretz Fisher, age 61 of Crumpler, died on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone. Mrs. Fisher was born on May 28, 1956 in Ashe County to Raymond and Vergie Forester Moretz. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Nicholas Billings.

Betty had a gypsy spirit and a beautiful smile. She was fun loving, had a wonderful heart, was generous and loved by all.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Scottsville Baptist Church by Brother Tommy Wurth.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by:  two daughters, Tonya Blevins and husband Tim of Lansing and Victoria Billings and husband Jeremy of Piney Creek; two sons, Buck Turnmire and wife Kim of Fleetwood and Michael Toliver and wife Donna of Todd; two brothers, Lloyd Moretz and Bob Moretz, both of West Jefferson; three sisters, Linda Gilvear of Crumpler, Pam Nantel of Canada, and Jennifer Nichols of West Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Travis, Sydney, Isaiah, Katie, Lauren, Wyatt, and Noah; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
