Sean Blevins, age 50 of Warrensville passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at his home. He was born in Ashe County on February 11, 1976 to Dean and Carolyn Coldiron Blevins. He was preceded in death by his father.

Sean had a love for cooking and eating, finding joy both in preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends.

He also had a natural talent for working with his hands. He helped establish Carolina Concrete, where he worked as a concrete finisher and took pride in the quality and craftsmanship of his work. Sean also enjoyed tinkering with automobiles in his free time as well. It was more than a hobby—it was a reflection of his thoughtful, hands-on approach to life.

Mr. Blevins is survived by his daughter, Alli Blevins and son, Parker Blevins both of Laurel Springs; mother, Carolyn Blevins of Lansing; sister, Angie Combs and husband, Rodney of Crumpler; two nephews, Tyler Combs and Mason Combs; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Ashe Shrine Club in Jefferson with a meal to follow.

Sean was a man known for his skilled hands, and love of life’s simple pleasures, his passing leaves behind cherished memories with all who knew him.
