Savanna Kay Gilbert

Savanna Kay Gilbert, age 31, of Traphill, died Friday, October 16, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Ms. Gilbert was born February 9, 1989 in Boone, NC to Robert Thomas Gilbert and Sherry Ann Workman Walker.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Baptist Chapel Cemetery by Rev. Guy Testerman and Rev. Sonny Thomas.

Ms. Gilbert is survived by, her father and step-mother, Robert and Polly Gilbert of Fleetwood, her mother and step-father, Sherry Ann Walker and Hank Evans of Traphill, fiance, Casey Johnson, sister, Melissa Spicer, step-sisters, Jessica and Corina Evans and Crystal Owens, step-brother, Bobby Pennington and nephew, Sammy Antopia. Several aunts and uncles also survive.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family c/o Robert Gilbert, 332 Railroad Grade Rd., Fleetwood, NC  28626.

The family will be meeting at her father's home.
