Ruth Phelps

Mrs. Ruth Love Byerly Phelps, age 83 of Lansing, NC, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Phelps was born December 10, 1924 in Davidson County to the late Kelly and Grace Byerly. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Scottsville Baptist Church by Minister Danny Miller and Rev. Reeves Jones. Burial will follow in the Scottsville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at Badger Funeral Home. Mrs. Phelps is survived by: 3 sons: William & Paul Phelps of Lansing and Avery Phelps of Lexington 3 daughters: Barbara Phelps of West Jefferson, Ruby Campbell of Lexington and Alice Roten of Mount Ulla, NC 1 Sister: Louise Rufrue of Kernersville 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
