Joan Little

Joan Little, age 65, of West Jefferson, passed away Monday, January 02, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Little was born October 18, 1940 in Tazewell, Virginia to the late Woodrow and Yuna Wilcox Dixon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Lester and Junior Clark and Richard Dixon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2006 at Lansing Presbyterian Church. Rev. Dwight Barker will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Flowers will be appreciated.

Mrs. Little is survived by:

Husband; Jack Little.

Two sons; Michael Edward Little of West Jefferson, NC and Timothy M. Little of Kailua, Hawaii.

One daughter; Janet O'Brian of Bossier City, Louisiana.

One sister; Betty Clark of Lansing, NC.

Also surviving are four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
