Graybeal
June 8, 1941 – May 27, 2026
Jean Towber Graybeal, age 84 of Warrensville passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at her home. She was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on June 8, 1941 to the late Peter and Alice McGinnis Towber. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Graybeal Sr. and a grandson, Ethan Shrader.
Throughout her life, Jean found great joy in serving others and sharing her Christian faith.
A faithful member of Big Laurel Baptist Church of Christ in Christian Union, Jean dedicated many years to teaching Sunday School, touching the lives of countless children and adults with her kindness and wisdom of God's Word. Her church family held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the fellowship and friendships she found there.
Jean enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading a good book and spending quiet afternoons working puzzles. Her family will fondly remember the many delicious meals she prepared with love, as cooking for those she cared about brought her great happiness.
In her younger years, Jean especially enjoyed gardening, taking pride in growing beautiful flowers and plants. She was also talented at needlepoint.
Above all else, Jean loved her family. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she has entered her heavenly home and is at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
Mrs. Graybeal is survived by her children, Gloria Graybeal of West Jefferson, Sheree Graybeal and Thomas Graybeal II both of Warrensville, one brother, Bill Towber (Francis) of Pennsylvania, grandchildren, Robin Wilson, Amber Wilson, Charlee Graybeal, Tommy Graybeal and Sophi Graybeal.
