James Percy Young

Mr. James Percy Young, age 93 of Jefferson, NC died on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson. Mr. Young was born on December 14, 1922 in Barnstead, NH to James Harley and Edith Margaret Wiley Young. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his wife, Pearl Lee Goss Young. Mr. Young retired from Thomasville Furniture Manufacturing.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens by Rev.Steve Ashley.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2016 prior to the graveside service at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Young is survived by several nieces and nephews.
