Earl Barr
Earl George Barr, age 62 of Lansing, NC, died Monday, May 9, 2005 at his home. Mr. Barr was born July 20, 1942 in Ashe County to the late Quincy and Martha Osborne Barr.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the Gillespie Chapel. Rev. Dean Shaw will officiate. Burial will follow in the Roten Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 till 4:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Barr is survived by:
5 brothers: Dempsey and James Barr both of Creston, NC, William & Wayne Barr both of Lansing, NC and Marvin Barr of Hickory, NC
3 sisters: Ruth Pennington and Lorene Calhoun both of Lansing, NC and Laura Greer of Creston, NC
