Carol Louise Jenkins Wilson passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2026 at Margate Health and Rehab. She was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on June 7, 1932 to the late John and Josephine Lovill Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Scott Wilson, a son, Thomas Keith Wilson, one brother, Edward Jenkins and one sister, Velma Bowman.

Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished the beauty and peace of living in the Blue Ridge Mountains, finding comfort in the changing seasons and the close-knit community she called home.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by one son, Louie Wilson of Creston, one daughter, Pamela Humphrey of Virginia as well as several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
