Bobbie Jones age, 91 of Warrensville passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at her home. She was born on Thursday, Feb 21, 1935 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Ottis Tracy and Gail McCoy Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Jones, two daughters, Linda Harvey and Kathy Lowe, granddaughter, Beth Jones Albino, two brothers, Mack and Jack Osborne as well as a sister, Mary Eller.
A member of Clifton Baptist Church, Bobbie's faith was an important part of her life and guided her in the way she cared for others. She retired from Sprague Electric after more than 40 years of dedicated service.
Bobbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed crafting, shopping, working in her yard, and spending time in the kitchen preparing meals for those she loved. She had a special gift for making people feel welcome, and many will fondly remember gathering around her table. She became especially known for her delicious cream corn and sweet tea, both of which became staples at family gatherings and celebrations.
Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and countless friends who were blessed by her presence. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, dedication, and selfless love.
She is survived by one son, Larry Jones and wife, Debbie of Warrensville and one sister, Hazel Walker of Creston, three grandchildren, one step-grandchild, four great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 6:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Jim Greer. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00pm one hour prior to the service.
The family respectfully requests no food please, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Medi-Home Hospice; PO Box 421, Jefferson, NC 28640.
