Betty Jane (Taylor) Roop

Betty Jane Taylor Roop, age 67 of Lansing, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Roop was born July 10, 1953 in Grayson County, VA to the late Orville and Mable Ruth May Taylor.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, John Franklin Taylor and sister, Nancy Helena Taylor Davis.  Betty loved spending time outside, gardening and camping.

A private burial in the Miller Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Roop is survived by, her husband, Charles Roop, daughters, Sandy and Savannah Roop both of Lansing, brother, William Dean Taylor better known as Bill of VA, grandson, Jamie Barker, brother-in-law, Jim Davis, and special niece, Kim Hodges. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
