Marion Lovett Arnsdorff

Marion Lovett Arnsdorff, age 75 of Fleetwood, died on Friday, February 3, 2017 at his home. Mr. Arnsdorff was born on March 6, 1941 in Savannah, GA to the late, Herman "Herbie" & Marjorie Arnsdorff. He attended, Savannah Country Day Prep School, Armstrong State College, in Georgia, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisiana, Life Christian University, in Florida for his bachelors and masters degree, and School of Bible Theology, Seminary, & University in California receiving his Doctorate in Ministry. Marion served his country attending the Fork Union Military Academy, in Virginia, and was honorably discharged from the Air National Guard. He pastored in Baton Rouge, LA, Punta Gorda & Fort Myers, FL, Billings & Miles City, MT, Savannah, GA, and Boone, NC. In itinerant ministry he was blessed to minister in the United States, Central America, Australia / New Zealand, South Africa, and United Kingdom / Ireland.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Peak Creek Church of the Brethren by Rev. Kermit Harpold and Rev. Michael Gragg. Burial will follow in the Peak Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at Peak Creek Church of the Brethren.

Mr. Arnsdorff is survived by: his wife of 38 years, Katherine Arnsdorff; daughter, Michelle Elliott of Mansfield, TX; two sons, Mark Arnsdorff and David Arnsdorff, both of Ashe County, NC; two sisters, Dianna Ford of Germantown, TN and Marjorie Arnsdorff of Bella Vista, AR; granddaughter, Leanne Flores of College Station, TX; grandson, Tyler Flores of Mansfield, TX; nephew, Chris Arnsdorff, aunt, Jean Madonia; also surviving are numerous relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
