Rickie Howard "Rick" Hoosier

Mr. Rickie Howard "Rick" Hoosier age 56, of Crumpler died on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson. Mr. Hoosier was born on December 15, 1957 in Ashe County, NC to Howard and Brucella Hoosier. Mr. Hoosier was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Casidy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Hoosier is survived by: Wife, Brenda Kay Wilcox Hoosier of Crumpler, Son, David Roop of Chattanooga, TN, Brother, James Hoosier of Lansing, Sister, Delta Ann Miller of Wilkesboro, Aunt, Josephine Pendergrass of Jefferson, Grandsons, Ben and Dylan, Great-Grandson, Ryker; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
