Pearl Ham Elliott Sullivan

Mrs. Pearl Ham Elliott Sullivan age 96, of Lansing, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Margate Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Sullivan was born on June 26, 1919 in Ashe County, NC to Wiley and Callie Sapp Ham. Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by first husband, Ray Elliott, second husband, Rev. Ora Sullivan, two brothers, Lon Ham, Wade Ham, three sisters, Hettie Roten, Della Roten, Floss Roten and granddaughter, Lynn Brown Slater. Mrs. Sullivan retired from Sprague Electric. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and loved to travel. Pearl was a charter member of Sabbath Home Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. If anyone ever visited her home, she always made sure you didn't leave without something to eat.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Larry Shepherd. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived by: two daughters, Dayna Brown and husband Jack of Lansing, Helen Allen of Kernersville, NC, son, Blake Elliott and wife Jan of Mocksville, NC, four grandchildren, Cynthia Gauss, Susan Bennett, Brian Allen, Stacie Liddle, four great-grandchildren, Emily Bennett, Elliott Bennett, Nate Gauss, Sydney Liddle, three step sons, Johnny Sullivan of West Jefferson, Jim Sullivan of Clemmons, Bently Sullivan of Lansing, two step daughters, Brenda Barr of Jefferson, Daphne Jones of Warrensville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
