Nell Gilley Lewis

Ms. Nell Gilley Lewis, age 79, of Warrensville, NC died on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Forest Ridge Assisted Living in West Jefferson. Ms. Lewis was born on February 24, 1935 in Clifton, NC to George Edward and Callie Jones Gilley. Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Ambrose Jones. Entombment will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Prayer.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Ms. Lewis is survived by: Daughter, Wanda Burns of Lansing, Sister, Jean Holbrook of Warrensville, Brother, G.E. Gilley of Jefferson, Special Friend, Jerry Hartzog, Grandson, David Burns, Grandson, Robby Burns, Great Grandchild, Kylie Burns, Great Grandchild Brooke Burns; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
