Ida Clara Marsh

Ida Clara Marsh, age 96 of Jefferson, died on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Margate Health and Rehab. Miss Marsh was born on July 29, 1919 in Ashe County, NC to Wiley and Catherine Miller Marsh. Miss Marsh was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, sisters, Vennie Marsh and Jenny Lou Marsh. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a registered nurse.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Steve Leashomb. Burial will follow in Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Miss Marsh is survived by several cousins and friends.

Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
