Douglas MacArthur Eastridge

Mr. Douglas MacArthur Eastridge, age 69, of Warrensville, NC died on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Eastridge was born on February 21, 1945 in Warrensville, NC to Carl and Florence Eller Eastridge. Mr. Eastridge was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Paul Eller, John Eastridge, Charles L. Eastridge, two sisters, Bonnie Jones, and Ann Delabo. Mr. Eastridge worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his dog "Ebby", his grandchildren, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Williams. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Eastridge is survived by: his wife of 43 years, Theresa Howell Eastridge, two sons, Charles Eastridge of West Jefferson, Timothy Eastridge of Jefferson, three daughters, Denise Eldreth of Warrensville, Betty Tait of Winston Salem, Bridgette Eastridge of Jefferson, sister, Jane Meador of GA, three brothers, Lonnie Eastridge, Edward Eastridge, and Joe Eastridge all of Warrensville. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
